Museum Talks

Over the years, the Museum’s Trustees and Staff and Volunteers have researched extensively into most aspects of the Regiment’s history and together they represent a significant repository of expertise and knowledge. In order to provide the widest access to this important source of information, we have put together a series of podcasts and talks that can be accessed from this website. This series of talks cover the whole period of the Regiment’s life from its inception in 1694 to the formation of the Mercian Regiment in 2007. Below is a lsit of the talks we can offer.

  • The Worcesters and the Battle of Gheluvelt, 31st October 1914
  • The Worcester Foresters Regiment in Northern Ireland a comparison of 1972 and 1994
  • The History of the Regiment and its imprint upon the City of Worcester.
  • The Worcestershire Regiment and the Battle of Kohima
  • Regimental archives and research. What sources do they hold?
