The Mercian Regiment Museum (Worcestershire) is a charity and very dependent on the support of individuals, companies, trusts and public bodies to sustain a programme of continuous improvement of the Museum and its collections. There are a number of ways in which you can help us.
VOLUNTEERING Volunteering to work for the Museum can be hugely educational and rewarding. It offers the chance to meet and mix with others, and need not be demanding. Volunteers may spend as little or as much time working for the Museum as they wish – from a few hours a month to five days a week. Opportunities exist for volunteers:
If you have other skills which you think may be of use to the Museum – for example, marketing, design, library, textile conservation, IT – please do not hesitate to tell us. Volunteers are not paid, although expenses incurred in fulfilling the role and tasks of the post-holder at work will be fully reimbursed. To offer your services as a volunteer or find out more, please e-mail the Curator John Paddock at museummercian@btconnect.com or telephone 01905 721982
The Museum welcomes donations, however small. They are the lifeblood on which the Museum depends for its financial well-being. To make a one-off payment, please download a Donation Form or donate via our Paypal account. All donations are acknowledged with a letter of thanks.
